Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen – Frosted Red CT

Bold colour meets soft texture in the Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen in Frosted Red CT. A frosted red resin body and crisp chrome trim give this oversized Italian piston filler a vibrant, modern look that’s impossible to ignore.

Red, but refined

The frosted finish tones down the red’s shine, giving it a velvety, contemporary feel. With chrome fittings, the overall effect is fresh and energetic without being flashy. It’s a great pick if you want a statement pen that still feels grown-up.

Built big

This is an oversized pen: 156mm long capped and 172mm posted, with a 16.8mm barrel. That wide grip is a favourite with writers who have larger hands or who find slim pens cramp their fingers. It weighs 30g, split between a 10g cap and a 20g barrel.

A proper No.8 nib

A large No.8 steel nib sits at the business end, offered in Fine, Medium and Broad. Broad and Medium are especially satisfying on a pen this size.

Fill from the bottle

The Pura’s piston filler draws ink directly from the bottle, so you can use any fountain pen ink you like.

Designed and made in Italy

Leonardo Officina Italiana has built a strong reputation among fountain pen enthusiasts for bold, well-made Italian pens. The Pura is its clean, minimalist design, shown here in an eye-catching red.
