Sailor Profit Junior Satellite Crayon Series Fountain Pen Set – Amami Oshima CT

From Sailor’s Satellite Crayon Series, the Sailor Profit Junior Amami Oshima fountain pen set comes in a clean, happy blue with chrome trim. It’s the kind of pen you reach for every day without thinking twice: light, reliable, and fitted with a proper Japanese steel nib. For anyone searching for a budget Sailor fountain pen in India that doesn’t cut corners on writing quality, the Amami Oshima is an easy recommendation.

Classic Sailor shape, lighter build

The Profit Junior takes its rounded-end, cigar-style profile from Sailor’s iconic 1911 range. Here it’s made in resin to keep things light: only 12g in total, with a slim 12mm diameter and 134mm capped length. It’s comfortable for small and medium hands, sits nicely in a shirt pocket, and posts to 144mm if you like a longer writing length.

A crisp Japanese Medium Fine nib

The steel nib is a Japanese Medium Fine. Because Japanese nibs are ground finer than European ones, Medium Fine gives a neat, narrow line that works beautifully for everyday handwriting, exam preparation, notes in the margins and daily planners. Sailor nibs have a gentle feedback on the page, a little like a sharp pencil, that many writers find helps their handwriting look tidier.

Cartridge or bottled ink, your choice

Both a cartridge and a converter are included in the set. Pop in the cartridge to start writing straight out of the box, or use the converter (about 0.62ml) to fill from a bottle and explore different ink colours. Sailor uses its own cartridge fitting, so pick up Sailor cartridges when it’s time to refill.
