Sailor Professional Gear Slim Shikiori Setsugetsu Soraha Ball Pen – Meigetsu GT

In Japan, autumn evenings are for moon viewing. Families set out rice dumplings and pampas grass and gaze at the full harvest moon, known as meigetsu. The Sailor Professional Gear Slim Shikiori Setsugetsu Soraha Meigetsu ball pen takes that glowing moon as its muse, with a warm ivory resin body and gold plated trim.

Ivory and gold, done right

Ivory is softer and warmer than pure white, and against gold fittings it has a gentle, luminous quality, a bit like moonlight itself. It looks refined on a wooden desk, beautiful in photos, and never goes out of style.

Sailor’s Pro Gear, in slim form

The Professional Gear design has flat ends at the cap and barrel, a signature Sailor silhouette that feels confident and modern. This Slim version is 133mm long and 12mm in diameter, easy to slip into a shirt pocket or notebook loop.

Writing with it

With a weight of 29g, it feels substantial and well balanced. The twist mechanism is smooth, and there’s no cap to fumble with. Ballpoint ink means it’s dependable on all kinds of paper, from diaries to delivery slips.

Perfect occasions

Meigetsu makes a thoughtful autumn birthday gift, a Karva Chauth or anniversary present for someone who loves the moon, or simply an elegant everyday pen for yourself.
