Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen – Frosted Grey RT

Modern, moody and seriously comfortable, the Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen in Frosted Grey RT pairs a soft frosted grey resin with dark ruthenium trim. The result is a sleek, contemporary piston filler that looks as good on a designer’s desk as it feels in the hand.

What’s ruthenium trim?

Ruthenium is a dark, gunmetal-toned plating. Compared with bright chrome or gold, it’s more understated and modern, and on the frosted grey body it creates an almost monochrome look.

The No.8 nib

“No.8” refers to the nib size, and it’s big. Large nibs like this look impressive and give a lovely writing experience. The steel nib is available in Fine, Medium or Broad.

Oversized comfort

The Pura is a generous pen: 156mm capped, 172mm posted and 16.8mm in diameter. That wide grip helps many writers relax their hand, and the 30g weight (10g cap, 20g barrel) gives a planted, stable feel on the page.

Piston filling

The Pura fills directly from the bottle using a built-in piston. Turn the knob at the end, dip the nib in ink, and turn it back. It’s simple, clean and lets you use any bottled ink you love.

Made in Italy

Leonardo Officina Italiana is an Italian pen maker celebrated for its bold designs and quality piston fillers. The Pura shows off the brand’s minimalist side.
