Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen – Frosted Grey GT

Grey and gold is a sophisticated pairing, and on the Leonardo Pura No.8 Steel Nib Fountain Pen in Frosted Grey GT it looks especially refined. The soft frosted grey body lets the gold plated trim glow, giving this oversized Italian piston filler a warm, elegant character.

A pen with presence

The Pura doesn’t hide. At 156mm capped (172mm posted) and 16.8mm across, it’s a substantial pen that makes a statement on any desk. Yet at 30g it isn’t heavy, so it stays comfortable through long writing sessions.

A large No.8 nib

The Pura carries a big No.8 steel nib, available in Fine, Medium or Broad. Larger nibs look beautiful and many writers find them pleasantly smooth on the page.

Piston filled

A piston mechanism built into the barrel lets you fill straight from any ink bottle. It’s the traditional choice of many fountain pen enthusiasts, and it means you’re never tied to cartridges.

Why the gold trim?

If you like classic warmth, gold is the obvious choice. It’s a lovely match with brown, burgundy and dark blue inks, and it gives the Pura a more traditional, luxurious feel compared with the chrome and ruthenium versions.

A thoughtful gift

For a writer, a professor, a doctor or anyone who loves Italian design, the Pura Frosted Grey GT makes an impressive and practical gift. It comes in Leonardo’s original packaging with an international warranty card.
