Inspiration Card Set

Work your way through those all-too-common creative roadblocks with The School of Life’s Inspiration Card Set.

Any project, whether it’s for work or play, will hit a rough patch eventually. Call it writer’s block, burnout, bad vibes, whatever you like – no matter the name, it stings to find yourself staring blankly at a problem and not know how to get past it. The School of Life’s Inspiration card set features 52 cards with unique strategies to help you think your way around the obstacle you’re stuck on. Like Brian Eno’s famed Oblique Strategies, each card in this set prompts you to take a different view of the task at hand. Pick one at random, and you might be invited to cast yourself back to being five years old, or block out external stimuli for a few minutes, or imagine how a visionary from history might approach your challenge. Try as many or as few until you carve a new path, and find a way to move forward once more.
