How Button Fill works

Esterbrook’s Button Fill system is built into the pen and is inspired by Parker’s Vacumatic of the 1940s. Unscrew the end of the barrel to reveal the button, dip the nib in ink and press the button a few times: the pen draws ink in with each stroke. It holds more ink than a typical cartridge or converter. It is a satisfying, hands-on ritual that connects you with the golden age of fountain pens.
