Strawberry Tureen (1L), red

The Strawberry tureen is a charming piece of ceramic art that showcases Bordallo Pinheiro’s signature playful and nature-inspired design. This strawberry-shaped box is meticulously crafted to resemble a ripe strawberry, complete with a vibrant red exterior adorned with hand-painted details, tiny seeds and a leafy green lid.

The attention to detail and the bowl’s realistic, glossy finish make it both a functional dishware item and a delightful decorative piece.

Tureens, deep dishes or bowls with a lid, are traditionally designed for serving soups, stews, or other hot liquids. But this quirky piece could just as well hide sauces, jams, granolas or other delicatessen in the table. And it’s such a cutie it looks wonderful in other places, too: at the hall table, on the living room shelf or in the bedroom keeping safe all the night table accessories. The strawberry-shaped jar adds a touch of whimsy and elegance to any home setting.
